La Mere
Vipere's musical coil is roughly 14-fold in
years. Danny Trice, Derek Tomlin and Alex Tomlin formed their first band
in 1994. During this time they met up with Mike "Cocaine" Layne and
through the years played in various band like Seven Hearts, Escapemen, and
Leper Colony. After several other failed group start ups (aside from Alex
who stuns all comers as the drummer in
Battlemaster). LMV
solidified a line-up in October of 2005 and began to write songs. The
group works with a decidedly outsider ethic. Seeking creative inspiration
(if not necessarily sonic inspiration) from bands whom they would assure
you they don't sound like As for gaining a following or becoming popular
LMV is not concerned with such obviously futile pursuits. LMV is a group
comprised of working adults. Thusly they assume their songs will be
enjoyed by working adults. Essentially they hope their music is not
co-opted by indie douche-bags.
